This role is for a Locum Tenens Provider to support growing clinics in Southern Oregon markets, ideal for a mission-driven clinician who values a patient-centered, root-cause approach to care and can provide high-quality coverage in an established practice. The assignment is flexible (full-time or part-time) for 3 months with an option to extend, covering Medford clinic locations including Talent, Central Point, Grants Pass, and Hillcrest.

Requirements

  • Active Oregon license as a Certified Physician Assistant (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience
  • Strong interest in preventive, functional, and lifestyle medicine
  • Excellent communication and patient relationship skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Proficient in using electronic health records

Nice To Haves

  • functional/integrative medicine experience is a plus
  • NextGen experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care through office visits, telehealth, and occasional same-day appointments
  • Perform comprehensive assessments, order and interpret labs/imaging, and diagnose acute and chronic conditions
  • Develop personalized treatment plans that may include lifestyle interventions, supplements, hormone therapies, and prescriptions
  • Educate and empower patients on preventive health and functional medicine principles
  • Collaborate with internal health coaches, nutritionists, mental health providers, and clinical support staff
  • Document visits in the EHR (NextGen) in a timely and compliant manner
  • Participate in team meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and training sessions
  • Support clinic operations by contributing to a positive, team-oriented environment
