About The Position

This locum tenens position in Obstetrics & Gynecology involves providing supplemental clinical coverage at an outpatient facility in Torrance, CA. Requirements

• Board certification in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Active medical license in California.
• Experience with required procedures and surgeries in obstetrics and gynecology.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically Epic.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care in obstetrics and gynecology settings.
• Perform required procedures including FHR interpretation, OB ultrasounds, and endometrial biopsies.
• Conduct surgeries such as hysteroscopy and polyp removals, IUD placements, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, and LEEP procedures.
• Manage patient volume averaging 23 patients per day, with specific attention to low-risk and high-risk cases.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals including NPs, RNs, and administrative staff.
