About The Position
The Art Editor will play a crucial role in the production of scientific figures, diagrams, and graphics for publication. As an Art Editor, you will be responsible for both creating original scientific figures and restyling figures supplied by authors to ensure clarity, accuracy, and visual appeal. The role involves sizing, relabelling and redrawing figures; proofreading labels and other text; ensuring consistency of style; collaborating with Nature’s art and subediting teams to ensure deadlines are met. You will have the opportunity to work with ground-breaking research for the world’s leading scientific journal, Nature, as well as joining a supportive and collaborative team.
