REPORTS TO: SUPERVISES: Locksmith Lead ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Understands and responds to internal guests needs. Communicates in a friendly, respectful and understandable manner. Politely gives consistent, timely and accurate information and finds answer when unsure. Uses outlined service behaviors when encountering guests. Meets expected service delivery times as defined by department’s service standards or as required by receiver of service or goods. Is a team player, cooperates with employees within the department as well as other departments. Speaks positively about the company, co-workers and guests. Maintains an inventory of parts and materials. Maintains records of all keys (except guest rooms) made and signatures of persons receiving same with date issued. Performs all maintenance necessary to keep all locks and locking devices in functional and safe operating condition. Responsible for the lifting and movement of items required to perform job functions; i.e., door closures, locksets, panic hardware, etc. Perform minor carpentry work required for the installation of locks and door hardware. Cuts keys as needed. Completes special assignments for the Lead Locksmith and above as requested. Maintains Preventive Maintenance Program. May access those areas which house gaming equipment or assets.
