  • Comply with safety rules and regulations, attends safety meetings and training, inspects work area for hazards/deficiencies and initiates actions to correct them.
  • Reports injury/illness and/or environmental incidents.
  • Troubleshoot and repair rotating equipment, pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical power distribution, packaging equipment, and utilities to the plant.
  • Perform and document routine PM’s and all daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual inspections of production and packaging equipment.
  • Assist the Shift Supervisors in meeting the daily goals as established by Plant Manager.
  • Perform all other tasks assigned by Maintenance Manager.
  • A minimum of five years as a Maintenance Mechanic or Maintenance Certificate from accredited program.
  • Familiarity with industrial electrical maintenance and general aptitude for mechanical troubleshooting.
  • Basic Word and Excel knowledge.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
