About The Position

Join our team as a Locker Room Attendant at Coral Casino Beach & Cabana Club. The Club, located at Butterfly Beach in Santa Barbara, is one of the most elite social clubs in the world. As part of the Ty Warner Hotels & Resorts portfolio, it’s sister properties include Montecito Club, San Ysidro Ranch, Four Seasons Resort the Biltmore Santa Barbara, Sandpiper Golf Club, Four Seasons New York and Las Ventanas al Paraíso in Los Cabos, Mexico. The Club’s distinction is driven by hiring and growing the very best associates available, who with the proper, enthusiastic attitude and attention to detail, take pride in their own efforts as well as the efforts from the team, and ensure members and their guest are provided with an exceptional experience. Under the supervision of the Chief Engineer, the Locker Room Attendant is responsible for ensuring the locker rooms are clean, well maintained, and in orderly condition at all times. Provides personal items to Members and Guests in locker rooms and responds to requests in a courteous and timely manner. Cleans and restocks amenities in the Fitness Center and The Studio. Contributes to a respectful, positive, and supportive working environment across departments. This position is compensated at $18.70/hr DOE

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ maintenance or janitorial experience required; country club experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, requirements and use of equipment/machinery.
• Basic knowledge of proper chemical handling preferred.
• Frequently stands/walks for prolonged periods of time, at least eight hours.
• Ability to climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crawl, crouch, bend, stretch, twist, and reach.
• Ability to push, pull, carry, and lift at least 35 pounds.
• Ability to withstand continuous repetitive motions.
• Works both indoors and in outdoor weather conditions.
• May be exposed to loud noise.
• May come into contact with fumes, hot and cold surfaces, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals.
• Ability to read and comprehend memos, correspondence, and special instructions.
• Basic math skills.
• Friendly, punctual, and proactive.
• High level of client services, professionalism, and attention to detail; professional appearance appropriate for a premier country club.
• Problem solving, reasoning, and “thinking out of the box”; ability to apply common sense understanding to better serve our internal and external guests’ needs.
• Comfortable working with a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and abide by the rules of the Coral Casino Employee Handbook.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, days, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain locker rooms in a clean, safe, orderly, and welcoming condition at all times.
• Clean and disinfect locker room facilities, including toilets, sinks, showers, drains, mirrors, floors, walls, and locker doors.
• Stock, replace, collect, and prepare towels for cleaning within the locker rooms.
• Ensure locker rooms are fully stocked with required amenities, including soap and paper products, replenishing dispensers regularly.
• Monitor, secure, and assist with the handling of Members’ and guests’ personal belongings while using locker room facilities.
• Assist Members and guests with day-use lockers and locker room amenities as needed.
• Empty trash regularly throughout the day and complete end-of-day removal.
• Maintain clean and organized locker room storage areas.
• Promptly communicate supply, maintenance, safety, or facility issues to management or the Chief Engineer.
• Complete opening and closing duties related to locker room operations and adjacent service areas as assigned.
• Restock amenities as needed to support locker room and adjacent wellness areas.
• Act as a backup Public Area Attendant when required, supporting overall property operations as directed.
• Report to work on time for scheduled shifts and meal and rest periods, properly clocked in and out, in full uniform and compliant with grooming standards.
• Follow all Club and departmental policies, procedures, standards, systems, and safety guidelines.
• Attend all required trainings and meetings.
• Support a culture of continuous improvement and promote a safe working environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Interact with Members, guests, vendors, and colleagues in a courteous, attentive, and service-oriented manner.
• Communicate proactively with Members and guests, offering towels, amenities, or assistance within the locker rooms.
