GPRS Core Values: Integrity Teamwork Mutual Respect Growth Mindedness Safety We are looking for a detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Locating Technician in Philadelphia. The role involves receiving one-call tickets daily, meticulously routing each stop, and driving between locations to mark out water, sewer, storm, and GSI lines. You will be responsible for marking out lines throughout the city, maintaining constant communication with GPRS and Philadelphia Water Department staff, and promptly responding to inquiries. Accurate documentation of mark-outs at each stop, along with uploading necessary photos to respective ticket folders, is essential to ensure contractual obligations are met and mark-outs can be digitally verified. Your primary focus will be analyzing as-built drawings to determine the location of underground water lines using various measuring devices to locate utilities based on known physical reference points. You will place marks/markers within required distances using the proper marking device as per GPRS requirements. Typically, working hours for this role are from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday. Locating Technicians are compensated at $23 an hour and paid weekly.
