In this role, you'll transport trailers on our facility property. You'll also help loading dock associates with loading and unloading trucks. Requirements
- Valid Class-A driver's license (CDL). Minimum 1-year CDL driving experience.
- Ability to meet all DOT requirements.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Ability to lift/carry or push/pull up to 85 lbs.
- Ability to acquire and retain forklift/industrial vehicle licenses required for this role.
- Basic computer skills and strong communication skills.
- Ability to work well both with a team and independently in a fast-paced position.
Responsibilities
- Relocate and transport trailers on facility property as required to stage trailers for loading and unloading to meet required receiving, production, and shipping goals.
- Partner with receiving and shipping teams to maintain detailed yard checks.
- Load Trucks by hand in an organized and safe manner, ensuring all products are scanned properly to the truck, department data is accurately recorded, and paperwork is completed thoroughly.
- Complete Electronic Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports on tractor and trailer equipment to ensure road worthiness.
- Maintains all Department of Transportation (DOT) and Marvin regulations.
