About The Position

The Local Waste Oil Collection Driver position at Excel Oil Services involves the recovery of used oil through service stops at new and existing accounts. Key responsibilities include completing all necessary documentation in compliance with State, Federal, DOT, and EPA regulations, as well as transporting waste oil collections and making deliveries to customers. The role also encompasses route sales of various service and product offerings, building and managing customer relationships, and performing sampling, testing, and measurement of collected products and materials. The driver is expected to maintain a valid CDL with a Tanker Endorsement and adhere to all DOT physical and drug screen requirements.

Requirements

  • Basic math skills
  • Mechanical Skills
  • Class A or B CDL and Tanker Endorsement Required with a good driving record
  • Self-starter, motivated and people-oriented
  • Petroleum-Chemical product recovery/delivery
  • Working knowledge of petroleum and lubricant products
  • GED, High School diploma, or equivalent work experience required
  • Able to meet DOT required physical and drug screen requirements
  • Two years or more of verifiable experience with a commercial license
  • Must be at least 24 years of age
  • No DUI or DWI convictions in the past 10 years
  • Must pass a pre-employment Background and DOT drug test
  • Must have CDL A or B and Tanker Endorsements
  • Must be able to carry, lift, pull or push 50 pounds or more
  • Must be able to reach, bend, kneel, squat, climb, and stoop
  • Must be able to climb on trucks/trailers, storage tanks, etc using ladders, hand rails and fall protection equipment etc
  • Work outdoors in inclement weather

Nice To Haves

  • 1 years of route-based sales/service experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Cross-train to perform various task as assigned by manager
