About The Position
Local Employer is seeking a Class A Commercial Driver for a local driving position based in Tracy, California. This job involves moving trailers between nearby locations and returning home each day.
Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver License
- Recent tractor-trailer driving experience (minimum varies by employer)
- Ability to work night shift
- Good driving record
Responsibilities
- Operate a Class A tractor and trailer for local transportation.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks.
- Move trailers between designated areas as directed.
- Communicate with dispatch regarding assignments and updates.
- Follow company policies and federal transportation guidelines.
- Maintain basic records for driving and deliveries.
