Your Role: As a Local Truck Driver at PTG Logistics, you will: Transport finished goods and raw materials safely and efficiently between our manufacturing plants and distribution centers. Conduct thorough vehicle inspections, ensuring safety and mechanical soundness. Maintain accurate logs of your work/rest periods and mileage, while complying with all relevant regulations. Maneuver trucks into loading and unloading positions, ensuring secure transport of goods. Communicate effectively to collect and verify delivery instructions, promptly reporting any defects or incidents. Requirements
- At least 21 years of age.
- Valid Non-CDL License and 12 months of verifiable driving experience.
- Meet PTG's MVR and risk rating qualifications.
- Ability to lift and move products and pallets weighing up to 75 pounds.
- Clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations and 1 at-fault accident in the past 3 years; no DUIs in the last 5 years.
- Hands-on experience with electronic equipment (GPS, ELD, etc.) and strong organizational skills.
