About The Position
We are currently seeking a professional and reliable Septic Truck Driver to join our growing team here at Mr. Rooter Plumbing. Requirements
- Valid driver’s license (CDL Class B preferred or willingness to obtain)
- Clean driving record
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Physical ability to perform hands-on work
- Reliability, punctuality, and team-first mindset
- CDL Class A required
Nice To Haves
- Septic or similar experience is a plus—but we’re happy to train the right person!
- Tanker endorsement (preferred)
- Septic or vacuum truck experience (huge plus)
- Comfortable with paperwork, pH logs, and disposal rules
- Plumbing, jetting, or drain experience
- Customer-facing (can upsell when helping techs)
- Mechanically aware (hoses, valves, maintenance)
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a septic pump truck for residential and commercial service calls
- Pump, clean, and maintain septic systems and holding tanks
- Provide friendly, professional service to our customers
- Perform basic vehicle inspections and keep equipment clean and well-maintained
- Work as part of a positive, motivated team that supports each other
- Responsible for pumping, disposal, paperwork & truck care
