About The Position

Cox Media Group Jacksonville is seeking a dynamic, results-driven Local Sales Manager to lead and inspire a high-performing sales team across our multi-platform portfolio, including WFOX FOX30, WJAX CBS47, Telemundo Jacksonville, and MeTV/MyTV Jax. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, developing strategic client partnerships, and fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and success. Requirements

  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue goals
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and sales analytics tools
  • Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record

Nice To Haves

  • 3–5+ years of previous supervisory/management and/or media sales experience (television and/or digital)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, related field or equivalent years of experience

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Account Executives to achieve and exceed revenue goals across television and digital platforms
  • Create and execute strategic sales plans that drive new business development and grow existing accounts
  • Collaborate with Creative Services, Marketing, and Digital teams to deliver integrated, results-focused campaigns
  • Maintain a strong presence in the Jacksonville business community to build relationships and identify growth opportunities
  • Analyze market trends, ratings, and revenue data to inform strategy and maximize inventory yield
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, pipeline management, and forecasting to ensure consistent results
  • Recruit, train, and retain top sales talent
