About The Position

Weigel Broadcasting in Chicago, IL, is seeking a Sales Assistant to support the Sales Managers and Account Executives in creating, booking, scheduling, and maintenance of sales activities.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• Background in Microsoft 365 Programs (Excel, Teams, Word, etc.) (required)
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work well under pressure
• Strong written, verbal, negotiation, and communications skills
• Excellent computer skills

Nice To Haves

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
• Previous experience in TV or Radio (preferred)
• Familiarity with Medialine (preferred)
• Proficient in Wide Orbit (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Process sales orders accurately and in a timely manner
• Maintain and update orders, including make goods, revisions, and proper filing
• Coordinate all order maintenance with clients via phone, email, or fax
• Support clear communication with clients by providing updates on rate changes, inventory updates, and important information
• Provide support to other sales assistants as needed
• Other duties, as assigned
