About The Position

Full-time Drivers work eight or more hours per day delivering proteins to a variety of Meats By Linz customers 5 days a week. Workdays may vary depending on business and consumer needs. This is a physical, fast-paced, outdoor position that involves lifting, lowering and carrying packages that typically weigh anywhere from 25 - 50 lbs. and may weigh up to 100 lbs. The position requires outstanding customer service skills, communication skills, and problem-solving skills. Meats by Linz, founded in 1963, is a fourth-generation family-owned premier meat purveyor. Requirements

• Preferred Class A license but minimum Class C driver license
• Must be able to obtain new DOT Med-Card for 1- 2 years
• Clean driving record
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Ability to pass pre-employment testing
• Ability to sit and drive for up to 10 hours, and climb in and out of truck cab throughout shift
• Must be capable of carrying, lifting, and stocking a variety of products including boxes that are approximately 50 lbs. to 75 lbs.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Excellent customer service skills
• Familiarity with routes surrounding Miami
• Ability to hold an asset if needed

Responsibilities

• Maintain clear and constant communication with management throughout one's shift to report updates, incidents, clarifications, or any other information that needs to be shared.
• Obey local and state traffic laws and follow the Company's transportation procedures.
• Ensure packages are delivered on time and accurately.
• Follow assigned routes for deliveries.
• Inspect and maintain vehicle and equipment to ensure that they are in proper working condition.
• Provide exceptional customer service skills while delivering on routes.
