Requirements

  • A calling to reach the local community with ability to network and build partnerships within the community
  • Experience recruiting and building team, training and empowering volunteer leaders
  • Project management experience showing demonstrated resourcefulness
  • Capable of learning and adapting to new systems and software platforms as needed
  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule, which may include nights and weekends as needed

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Local Missions Ministry at the West Campus
  • Oversee the day to day operations at the Dream Center, including Food Pantry, Car Care, Adopt a Block, and other local needed resources and programs
  • Build a team to execute Serve Saturday projects at the church and in the community
  • Grow the campus Acts 4/Benevolence Ministry Team at the West Campus by identifying and training volunteer Resource Coordinators to meet with people in need.
  • Partner with the Campus Pastor and/or Central Local Missions Pastor to administer resources
  • Work with campus staff to create a culture where serving the most vulnerable in our communities is a Small Group value that is lived out both relationally and practically
  • Partner with Central Local Missions Pastor to train and equip Serve Champions for each area of ministry so that they can encourage and lead their Small Groups to engage with established community partners
  • Serve as a liaison between the church and Local Missions community partners
  • Collaborate with the Campus Pastor and Central Local Missions Pastor to determine the role of the church in meeting community needs
  • Maintaining campus local missions events on the Seacoast website, and using the SERVE app/seacoast.serveday.com
  • Ministry Platform follow up and communication
  • Dream Team training as needed
  • In partnership with the Campus Pastor, plan, schedule and organize all campus Local Missions events
  • Recruit, develop and lead a Dream Team to coordinate campus projects and seasonal outreach
  • Partner with the Creative Team for local campus missions events for needed assets and social promotion
  • Actively participate in weekly campus meetings, one and one meetings with leader; and attend monthly All-Staff
  • Actively support campus ministry events
