About The Position

Elevate your career as a Local Marketing Advisor with Good Neighbor Pharmacy (GNP) and become a key strategic partner for our Premier franchise members! In this impactful role, you will provide expert consultation on leveraging both online and offline marketing channels, with a special focus on pay-per-click advertising and social media marketing. You'll develop tailored, high-impact strategies that drive consumer awareness, boost foot traffic, and enhance revenue through OTC sales and clinical services. As a vital member of our team, you'll train customers on our marketing programs, ensuring they fully understand the tools and services available to them. Stay ahead of consumer shopping and digital marketing trends, translating data into actionable insights while addressing the unique challenges faced by independent pharmacies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or business administration or a related field; equivalent work experience will be considered.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in consumer marketing, including digital, social media and local marketing, preferably within a franchise or network environment.
  • 5+ years proven experience in digital advertising across multiple channels, including proficiency in Google My Business, Google Ads, PPC marketing and social media management and paid campaigns.
  • Franchise or multi-location marketing experience is preferred; knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and/or independent business ownership is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and creative skills, with the ability to think strategically and adapt quickly to change.
  • Excellent ability to interpret digital marketing data and communicate it to customers in a simplified fashion.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a track recording building and managing relationships at various organizational levels.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing; presenting complex information in an approachable manner.
  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills, capable of engaging audiences and conveying marketing strategies effectively.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio), Adobe Creative Suite, content management systems and various social media platforms.
  • Google Ads Search, Google My Business Basic and Google Analytics certifications preferred.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
  • Expertise in reporting on social media and digital advertising metrics and analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the consultative partner for Good Neighbor Pharmacy Premier members, assessing their marketing needs and business differentiators to develop effective strategies that drive consumer awareness, engagement and in-store traffic.
  • Work closely with the GNP marketing programs team to create relevant, cohesive and effective local marketing strategies and materials that align with national campaigns when appropriate.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with GNP program and sales field teams, communicating regularly to understand customer business objectives and ensure a consistent experience for pharmacy members.
  • Onboard and train customers on tools and educate Cencora field associates on program marketing offering during leader meetings.
  • Educate pharmacies on high-impact patient engagement opportunities and recommend customized digital marketing strategies based on pharmacy offerings.
  • Ensure pharmacies are aware of and equipped to utilize GNP marketing channels to drive local engagement through local listings, social media, website, online review management and PPC advertising.
  • Keep abreast of social media trends and how they can align with GNP seasonal campaigns.
  • Educate pharmacies on strategies to create a social media presence to optimize patient engagement across various platforms.
  • Analyze campaign performance against ROI, adapting ongoing and future marketing efforts based on data insights to optimize spend and maximize results.
  • Educate and train internal and external stakeholders on effective digital marketing and advertising best practices.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of both digital and traditional advertising trends, consumer behavior trends, competitive intelligence and challenges facing the pharmacy industry.
