About The Position

The Local Fuel Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of propane to customers, ensuring exceptional customer service while upholding safety standards. This role involves loading, unloading, and conducting regular vehicle inspections and maintenance.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 year delivery driver experience
• CDL Class B with Tanker and Hazmat endorsement
• Current DOT medical certification

Responsibilities

• Transfer, collect, load and deliver propane to customers.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
• Monitor and track the transfer of propane inventory and tank levels using technology.
• Accurately record and print delivery tickets for customers.
• Complete and submit daily driver reports as necessary.
• Conduct pre and post vehicle inspections and site inspections.
• Collaborate with the Dispatcher for routing and scheduling information.
• Notify the dispatcher of any issues related to product, customer, routing, scheduling, or safety.
• Work overtime hours when business needs require it.
