About The Position

We are looking for a motivated individual with experience who
is eager to learn and contribute to our team. The Local Truck Driver and Yard
Operator position works with our distribution team to transport pipe and
materials between our Martinsburg yards. In addition, this team member will be
expected to load and unload trucks using telehandlers and support the overall
function of maintaining the pipe yards. If you have a passion for material
handling and operating trucks and equipment, we encourage you to apply.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems (training will be provided).
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new ideas.
• Valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

• Previous material handling experience preferred.
• Previous experience driving large vehicles and transporting loads

Responsibilities

• Actively adopt a safety mindset through all tasks
• Drive a light duty truck with a 40ft gooseneck to transport pipe between local yards, DOT cert only
• Occasionally pickup shop supplies or materials from local suppliers
• Support yard activities including loading/unloading your own loads
• Keeping yard organized
• Picking and organizing pipe orders
• Loading customer trucks
• Unloading delivery trucks
• Verifying inventory
• Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork.
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to company policies.
