This position supports our terminal operations in Palmer, Alaska.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent or experience in lieu of education.
  • Must possess a valid Class A or B CDL with Tanker, Hazardous Materials and Air Brake endorsements.
  • Must meet the current driver qualifications as defined in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
  • Must possess a current Medical Certificate.
  • Must be willing to work some overtime.
  • Minimum of two years of experience operating vehicles that require a CDL.
  • Experience with propane, natural gas, pipefitting, plumbing, crane, or boom truck is a plus.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Outlook and Word.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver and receive petroleum products to and from company tanks, customer tanks, and airplanes as required.
  • Perform customer service activities, including fuel attendant duties; assist with gasoline pump meter readings, sales slips and credit card charges.
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections and requisition parts and repairs.
  • Perform or assist with weekly inspections of facilities.
  • Assist maintenance crews with maintenance and upgrade.
  • Track and reorder inventory.
  • Complete paperwork and update information into computer tracking systems.
  • Understand and implement company, state and federal regulations.
  • Act as a first responder to any spill incidents.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
