This position serves as a relief driver, filling in for delivery drivers who are unavailable due to vacation, illness, or other reasons. The routes for this role typically change daily. The driver delivers products to various customers, including convenience stores, gas stations, small supermarkets, and drug stores, across diverse weather conditions. Key responsibilities include driving the delivery vehicle, unloading and bringing products into stores, and performing ongoing rotating and stocking of products on shelves, displays, vending equipment, and in coolers. The role also involves building small displays, setting up promotional materials like pricing signs and banners, generating invoices, and handling daily settlement of cash and charges. Frequent interaction with store management is required. This is a labor-intensive position, demanding repeated lifting, loading, and pushing/pulling cases weighing 20-45 pounds, as well as reaching, squatting, and bending during delivery and merchandising activities.
