To learn more about playing for Team Aero, visit www.aeroindustries.com PURPOSE AND SCOPE The Local Delivery Driver & Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing safe, efficient local pickups and deliveries, as well as supporting warehouse operations during non-driving hours. This role requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle materials safely and efficiently.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in delivery driving, warehouse operations, or a similar logistics role.
  • Experience safely operating company vehicles (cargo vans, box trucks under CDL weight limits).
  • Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance and inspection procedures.
  • Demonstrated track record of reliable attendance and meeting delivery deadlines.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Knowledge of safe material handling practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs independently.
  • Ability to team-lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working in various environmental conditions (e.g., hot, cold, dusty).

Nice To Haves

  • Previous work with material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks, or forklifts) preferred.
  • Experience in inventory control and handling shipping/receiving paperwork a plus.
  • Customer service experience in a role requiring direct client interaction preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a company vehicle (Non-CDL) to complete local pickups and deliveries.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of company vehicles.
  • Load and unload materials using proper handling and safety procedures.
  • Maintain delivery logs and verify paperwork for each delivery.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations (as applicable), and company safety policies.
  • Provide excellent customer service with professional demeanor.
  • Assist in receiving incoming materials; inspect for damage or discrepancies.
  • Organize and store inventory in designated locations.
  • Prepare outgoing process orders for shipment or local delivery.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
  • Communicate effectively with the Receiving Lead, warehouse team, and other stakeholders.
  • Perform basic vehicle inspections and routine maintenance checks.
  • Support additional warehouse and operations tasks assigned during non-driving hours.
  • Demonstrate strong time-management and organizational skills.
