About The Position

The position involves delivering products to various customers, including those in the Foodservice sector. The driver will be responsible for driving the delivery vehicle, unloading products, and merchandising them in stores. This includes ongoing rotation and stocking of products on shelves, displays, coolers, and vending equipment. The driver will also build small displays and set up promotional materials such as pricing signs and banners. Daily responsibilities include generating invoices and settling cash and charges, as well as interacting frequently with store management and receiving personnel to ensure proper acceptance of loads. The role requires physical strength, as it involves lifting and loading cases weighing between 20-45 pounds repeatedly, and pushing or pulling loads of 40-150 pounds occasionally. The driver must also perform tasks that require reaching, squatting, and bending while delivering and merchandising products.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years or older
• Pass the DOT drug test and DOT Physical
• Valid U.S. CDL with Non-Excepted Interstate Status (if applicable)

Nice To Haves

• Experience operating trucks requiring a Valid U.S. CDL license
• Knowledge of DOT regulations
• Experience merchandising products
• Ability to use equipment to aid in hauling loads
• Experience operating pallet jacks and other equipment

Responsibilities

• Deliver product and execute all promotions
