About The Position

The position involves delivering products to various customers, including those in the Foodservice sector. The driver is responsible for operating the delivery vehicle, delivering products to stores, and ensuring that products are rotated and stocked on shelves, displays, coolers, and vending equipment. The role includes building small displays, setting up promotional materials, generating invoices, and managing daily cash and charge settlements. Frequent interaction with store management and receiving personnel is required for load acceptance. The job entails physical demands such as lifting and loading cases weighing between 20-45 pounds and pushing/pulling loads of 40-150 pounds. The driver must also perform tasks that require reaching, squatting, and bending while merchandising products. Unloading pallets from the delivery vehicle using an electronic pallet jack or hand truck is also part of the job.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years or older
• Pass the DOT drug test and DOT Physical
• Valid U.S. CDL with Non-Excepted Interstate Status (if applicable)
• In California, specific CDL status requirements apply based on location

Nice To Haves

• Experience operating trucks requiring a Valid U.S. CDL license
