This position serves as a relief delivery driver, stepping in for regular drivers who are unavailable due to vacation, illness, or other reasons. The routes for the relief driver typically change on a daily basis. The role involves delivering products to various customers, including convenience stores, gas stations, small supermarkets, and drug stores, across diverse weather conditions. The driver is responsible for operating the delivery vehicle, unloading products, and bringing them into the stores. Key tasks include ongoing rotating and stocking of products on store shelves, displays, vending equipment, and in coolers. The driver also builds small displays and sets up promotional materials like pricing signs and banners. Administrative duties include generating invoices and performing daily settlement of cash and charges. Frequent interaction with store management is required. This is a physically demanding position, necessitating repeated lifting, loading, and pushing/pulling cases weighing between 20-45 pounds during work hours, as well as reaching, squatting, and bending while delivering and merchandising products in the store.
