About The Position

This position serves as a relief driver, filling in for delivery drivers who are unavailable due to vacation, illness, or other reasons. The routes for the relief driver typically vary daily. The role involves delivering products to various customers, including convenience and gas stores, small supermarkets, and drug stores, across diverse weather conditions, either on established, contingency, or dynamically dispatched routes. The driver is responsible for operating the delivery vehicle, unloading products, and bringing them into the store. Key tasks include rotating and stocking products on store shelves, displays, vending equipment, and in coolers, as well as building small displays and setting up promotional materials like pricing signs and banners. The position also requires generating invoices and managing daily settlement of cash and charges, with frequent interaction with store management. This is a physically demanding role, requiring repeated lifting, loading, and pushing/pulling cases weighing 20-45 pounds, along with reaching, squatting, and bending during delivery and merchandising activities.

Requirements

21 years or older
Valid U.S. CDL License with Non-Excepted Interstate Status
Pass the required drug test and physical capabilities test (if applicable)
Pass DOT physical and DOT Road Test
Ability to communicate effectively in English
