This position fills in for delivery drivers who are unavailable for their shifts due to vacation, illness, etc., with routes typically changing daily. The role involves delivering products to customers, including convenience and gas stores, small supermarkets, and drug stores, across various weather conditions. The driver is responsible for operating the delivery vehicle, unloading and bringing products into stores, and performing ongoing rotating and stocking of products on shelves, displays, vending equipment, and in coolers. Additional duties include building small displays, setting up promotional materials like pricing signs and banners, generating invoices, and daily settlement of cash and charges. Frequent interaction with store management is expected. This is a labor-intensive position requiring repeated lifting, loading, and pushing/pulling cases weighing 20-45 pounds, as well as reaching, squatting, and bending during delivery and merchandising.
