This position involves delivering products to stores on an established route or via dynamic dispatch, typically averaging 15-20 stops per day, including convenience stores, gas stations, small supermarkets, and drug stores. The driver is responsible for unloading and bringing products into the store, as well as ongoing rotating and stocking of products on shelves, displays, vending equipment, and in coolers. Additional duties include building displays, setting up promotional materials like pricing signs and banners, generating invoices, and daily settlement of cash and charges. The role requires frequent interaction with store management. This is a physically demanding position, requiring repeated lifting, loading, and pushing/pulling of a high volume of cases (20-45 pounds per case) throughout work hours. It also involves reaching, squatting, and bending while delivering and merchandising products in various weather conditions. During peak seasons, such as summer, long work hours are expected.
