This position involves delivering products to stores on an established route or via dynamic dispatch to various customers, including convenience and gas stores, small supermarkets, and drug stores, averaging 15-20 stops per day. The driver is responsible for operating the delivery vehicle, unloading products, and bringing them into the store. Key duties include ongoing rotating and stocking of products on store shelves, displays, vending equipment, and in coolers, as well as building displays and setting up promotional materials like pricing signs and banners. The role also requires generating invoices and daily settlement of cash and charges, with frequent interaction with store management. This is a labor-intensive position, demanding repeated lifting, loading, and pushing/pulling a high volume of cases (20-45 pounds per case) during work hours. It also involves reaching, squatting, and bending while delivering and merchandising products in stores and across diverse weather conditions. During peak seasons, such as summer, long work hours may be required.
