About The Position

The Local Delivery Driver - CDL A position is responsible for delivering products to various retail locations, filling in for regular drivers who are unavailable. The role involves dynamic routing, unloading products, stocking shelves, and maintaining positive relationships with store management. This labor-intensive position requires physical strength and the ability to handle products weighing between 20-45 pounds.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years or older
• Valid CDL or Valid CDL Permit with Non-Excepted Interstate Status
• Pass the required drug test and physical capabilities test
• Pass DOT physical and DOT Road Test

Nice To Haves

• Experience operating trucks requiring a CDL license
• Experience merchandising products
• Experience operating equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks

Responsibilities

• Deliver products and execute all promotions
• Service all scheduled customers by the end of shift
• Merchandise all accounts to local standards
• Follow DOT regulations
• Establish positive working relationships with primary contact at each account
• Maintain regular, reliable, predictable attendance
