Local Class B Driver Day Shift
About The Position
Central Transport is an industry leading Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) transportation carrier with an ever-growing network of terminals nationwide. They are seeking quality CDL Class B drivers to fill home daily openings at their Rock Tavern, NY terminal. Local Pick Up & Delivery routes consist of picking up and delivering freight at multiple stops while driving a Straight Truck throughout the day and providing excellent customer service to their customers. Drivers are responsible for ensuring that customers' freight is delivered on time and damage free, and also unload their trailer upon completion of their daily route.
Requirements
- Class B Commercial Driver’s License
- Hazmat and Tanker Endorsement (or willingness to obtain)
- Must be 21 Years Old
- 3 months previous Class B driving experience
- Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
- Meet or exceed the medical standards of the U.S. Department of Transportation
Responsibilities
