Requirements

Valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) with a clean driving record
DOT certification and compliance with federal and state transportation regulations
Strong knowledge of safety standards and traffic laws
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to perform basic vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
Good communication skills and a professional attitude
Physical ability to load, unload, and handle cargo as needed

Responsibilities

Safely operate commercial trucks in compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company policies
Transport goods and materials to designated destinations efficiently and on schedule
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and readiness
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members
Adhere to all traffic laws and safety procedures to prevent accidents and violations
Handle loading and unloading of cargo when necessary
Report any vehicle issues or accidents promptly to management
