About The Position

Palmer Donavin is hiring Local Class A CDL Drivers in Bluffton, IN who want strong annual earnings, and to be home every night. This is a weekday-only, local driving role with consistent routes, paid overtime, and long-term stability at an employee-owned company. Palmer Donavin is committed to getting you home safely. We have electronic logs, Satisfactory FMCSA Safety Rating, Low Inspection Risk, CSA Scores Below Thresholds. Our tractors are automatic, day cab, on a full maintenance lease.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL with at least 1 year of commercial driving experience.
• Clean MVR, PSP, and FMCSA Clearinghouse
• Ability to pass DOT drug screen and background check
• Current DOT Medical Card (or ability to obtain prior to hire)

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class A tractor trailer on local routes
• Strap/unstrap loads and operate rag side trailers
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate E-Logs and delivery documentation
• Follow all DOT and company safety standards
• Provide professional customer service at delivery locations
