About The Position

The road to success starts with Sapp Bros.! Right now, we are seeking a patient, safe, and courteous CDL Driver to join our transportation team. Our trucks are rolling billboards and our drivers represent our company out on the road. This is a key role, and that's why we only hire the very best drivers. If you can operate our trucks in a safe, courteous manner and abide by the law at all times, we want to hear from you!As Driver, you will be responsible for the safe loading, transportation, and delivery of packaged lubricants, drums, and other merchandise to our truck stops or directly to a customer's place of business.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B required, Class A strongly preferred
• Hazmat, Airbrakes, and Tanker endorsement strongly preferred and would need to be obtained upon employment.
• Possess a current DOT health card
• An excellent driving and safety record
• Pass Criminal Background Check; including: Motor Vehicle Records, D.O.T., and Employment reference verification
• Must have a negative result on all drug & alcohol screening tests, pre-employment, reasonable suspicion, post-accident and random

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in Oil and/or Fuel Transportation, preferred

Responsibilities

• Delivering oil orders
• Delivering refined fuels and propane
• Managing oil warehouse
• Conducting pre-trip inspection of truck and trailer
• Performing warehouse duties
• Completing pre-shift safety and inspection form
• Fueling Truck Cleaning cab of truck
• Sticking tanks prior to, and after, delivery of fuel
• Remaining outside by the hoses while making delivery
• Completing daily log
• Turning in all relevant paperwork
