This isn't just a driving job, it's a chance to build a long-term career in a supportive, safety-first environment where your work truly matters. 💵 What You'll Earn Starting pay is $27.00 to $30.00 per hour (Depending on Experience) $1,000 hiring bonus on your first paycheck $5,000 worth of stay-on bonus in your first year of employment (Paid out over the course of a year) Regular wage increases based on performance and experience 🗓 Schedule Full-time, Monday-Friday (5x8 schedule) Occasional Saturdays as needed Home daily - no long hauls or overnights 🎯 What You'll Do Safely operate a garbage truck on local routes Collect waste and recyclables from homes and businesses Follow route sheets and work independently with minimal supervision Perform daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance Deliver outstanding, courteous customer service every day 🔧 What You'll Need A valid Class B CDL with air brake endorsement (minimum) At least 1 year of commercial driving experience A clean driving record Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in all weather Strong communication skills and a positive attitude ⭐ Why Join Alaska Waste?
