About The Position

Murrey’s Disposal, a Waste Connections Company, is hiring a Rear-Load Garbage Truck Driver who is ready to take on one of the most physically demanding and essential jobs in our community. This is not a desk job — it’s hard work, outdoors, on your feet, and behind the wheel of a powerful machine. If you take pride in doing tough work that matters, we want you on our team. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with occasional Saturdays Pay Range: $35.00–$35.50/hour What You’ll Be Doing Operate a rear-load garbage truck safely and efficiently on assigned routes. Manually load and unload waste and recyclables — lifting, pushing, and pulling objects over 100 pounds throughout the day. Navigate tight streets, alleys, and industrial zones in all weather conditions. Use hydraulic controls to lift and empty containers at disposal sites. Perform daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance. Interact professionally with customers while working independently and staying on schedule. Safety-first culture: You’ll be trained and expected to follow strict safety protocols every step of the way. Minimum Requirements Valid Class B CDL with air brake endorsement (Class A not required). Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience. Ability to read, write, and communicate in English. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Basic mechanical knowledge for truck inspections. Requirements
