About The Position
This position is for candidates who have 1 plus years of Class A commercial driving experience - If you have less than 1 year of Class A commercial driving experience, please apply to our Entry Level Local CDL A Truck Driver role which is located on our career site $5,000 sign-on bonus Local routes Earn overtime each day after 8 hours worked Paid weekly Touch-freight Extra board schedule Foodservice distribution Preloaded trucks and palletized delivery Attendance Incentive Program - Eligible for up to $400 bonus each quarter, which equals up to $1,600 per year! Wage Progression Plan Position responsibilities: The primary duty of the CDL A Truck Driver entails the safe and professional operation of a commercial motor vehicle, company equipment, and the courteous delivery of products to our valued customers The CDL A Truck Driver is responsible for unloading and delivering products to our local customers and are responsible for pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicle This role will securely operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and/or Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as an electric pallet jack and/or hand truck Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 1 plus years of Class A commercial driving experience or equivalent driving experience in the military
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- Must be able to lift products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 170 pounds
