Requirements
- CDL License Required: Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License and a clean driving record
- Communication Skills: Ability to interact effectively with team members and customers
- Organization & Time Management: Keep your deliveries and paperwork on track
- Basic Math Skills: For inventory and data entry tasks
- Problem-Solving Skills: Handle challenges and follow instructions with confidence
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs., occasionally up to 100 lbs., and handle fragile packages safely
- Adaptability to varying weather and work conditions
- All employees must pass a background check and drug test upon hiring
- Employees will participate in our random drug testing program throughout their tenure
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: Preferred but not required
- DOT Knowledge: Familiarity with regulations and compliance is a plus
Responsibilities
- Safely operate company trucks and equipment (tractor-trailer, straight truck, forklift)
- Lead and assist crews with packing, loading, and unloading
- Complete required logs and move paperwork
- Provide excellent customer service at every job site
- Maintain and inspect vehicles, tools, and equipment
- Navigate efficiently using maps/GPS
- Follow UniGroup agency policies, safety procedures, and DOT regulations
