About The Position

Behind the wheel of every shiny red Coca-Cola truck is a professional driver with a mission to deliver the greatest beverage brands with exceptional customer service. At Coke Northeast, our drivers play a vital part in making sure all of our iconic Coca-Cola products get to our local stores, restaurants, cafeterias or vending machines on time and in full.
The Driver – Double Bottom is responsible for transporting finished goods from a Production Center or Distribution Center to other Distribution Centers utilizing double trailers. As with all of our drivers, the Driver – Double Bottom is expected to fulfill the job duties in a professional, compliant, safe and timely manner.

Requirements

• Class A Commercial Driver’s License & MVR that meets company policy required
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent preferred
• 1-3 years of general work experience required
• 1+ years of commercial driving experience preferred
• Must have the ability to push and pull manual and powered material handling equipment (i.e., pallet jack, hand-truck etc.) containing product loads for a minimum of 100 yards without assistance
• Must be self-motivated with a high degree of integrity and be able to perform job duties with minimal supervision on a timely basis

Responsibilities

• Transport finished goods and raw materials between facilities
• Load and unload finished goods and raw materials using a forklift or pallet jack
• Check accuracy and stability of the load
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Operate industrial vehicles and equipment
• Connect and disconnect trailers
• Maintain DOT time log, Bill of Lading and other paperwork as required
• Maintain vehicle, product, equipment and other company property to company standards
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures
