About The Position

The Local Admissions Representative will engage with high school students in the North Phoenix and East Valley Territory, presenting career opportunities and educational programs offered by a leading trade school. This role involves significant travel to high schools and career fairs, as well as home visits to prospective students and their families, to provide information and support regarding the school's offerings. The representative will work closely with the admissions team to ensure compliance with regulations and maintain high ethical standards while fostering a positive environment for students.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of sales experience required.
• Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in educational sales or admissions is a plus.
• Familiarity with trade school programs and career opportunities in skilled trades.

Responsibilities

• Conduct admissions activities with integrity and adherence to state, federal, and company policies.
• Utilize a consultative communication methodology with prospective and current students.
• Collaborate with other departments to prioritize student needs and ensure a positive work environment.
• Travel to high schools and career fairs, as well as to students' homes for consultations.
• Accurately communicate campus features and program information to prospective students.
• Participate in follow-up activities with enrolled students to monitor their progress.
• Forecast new student numbers for classroom occupancy planning.
• Input all activity into the database management system in a timely manner.
• Attend semi-annual graduation ceremonies to celebrate student achievements.
