If this is what you’re all about, consider joining our Team. Ascent Hospitality is looking for a uniquely qualified hospitality leader to be our Public Area Attendant! As public area attendant you are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of public spaces such as lobbies, corridors, restrooms, and lounges. Your duties encompass vacuuming, sweeping, mopping floors, dusting furniture, cleaning windows, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold high hygiene standards. You must also ensure supplies like toiletries and towels are adequately stocked, manage trash removal, and promptly report any maintenance issues or damages observed.

Requirements

• Proficient in various cleaning techniques including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and surface sanitization.
• Knowledgeable in the use of cleaning products, tools, and equipment specific to hospitality settings.
• Skilled in monitoring and managing inventory levels of supplies like toiletries and towels.
• Adherence to safety protocols and hygiene standards to maintain a safe and sanitary environment.
• Ability to identify and promptly report maintenance issues or damages for resolution.
• Effective communication skills for professional guest interaction and responding to inquiries or requests.
• Capable of working collaboratively with team members to achieve operational goals.
• Detail-oriented in performing cleaning tasks and inspecting areas to uphold hotel cleanliness standards.
• Efficient time management to prioritize tasks and maintain cleanliness throughout shifts.
• Adaptability to varying work conditions and schedules in a dynamic hospitality setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Physical fitness to meet job demands like standing, walking, lifting, and bending.
• Proficiency in cleaning techniques and knowledge of cleaning products and equipment.
• Basic communication skills to interact effectively with guests and colleagues.
• Attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Dependable, punctual, and possessing a strong work ethic.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
• Understanding and adherence to safety and hygiene standards.

• Previous experience in hospitality or a similar role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of public areas such as lobbies, corridors, restrooms, and lounges.
• Manage and replenish supplies including toiletries, towels, and other amenities.
• Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables from designated areas.
• Report maintenance issues and damages promptly to ensure swift resolution.
• Adhere strictly to hotel cleanliness, safety, and procedural standards.
• Provide courteous assistance to guests as needed.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to maintain operational efficiency.
• Maintain flexibility to accommodate varying work schedules and additional tasks as required.
