About the position

The Lobby Concierge at The Ritz-Carlton Orlando Grande Lakes is responsible for providing exceptional guest services, addressing special requests, and ensuring guest satisfaction. This role involves coordinating with various departments to fulfill guest needs, offering information about hotel amenities and local events, and maintaining a professional and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

  • Attend to special requests from guests, such as transportation, reservations, and laundry service.
  • Follow up on special requests to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Gather and provide information to guests about the hotel and local amenities, including events and activities.
  • Handle, log, and process all calls, messages, requests, questions, or concerns from guests.
  • Contact appropriate personnel or departments to resolve guest issues or requests.
  • Review employee shift logs and daily memo books, documenting relevant information.
  • Monitor seating availability, service, safety, and well-being of guests in the club lounge.
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions, and complete safety training and certifications.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures, ensuring a clean and professional appearance.
  • Greet and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipating their service needs.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with others, preparing and reviewing written documents accurately.
  • Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with others, supporting team goals and addressing employee concerns.
  • Adhere to quality assurance expectations and standards.
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods during the workday.
  • Move, lift, or transport objects weighing 10 pounds or less.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
