About The Position

The Lobby Attendant plays a key role in creating a welcoming first impression and maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of all public spaces. You’ll ensure the lobby, restrooms, elevators, and other guest-facing areas reflect our brand standards at all times. With an eye for detail and a warm, service-oriented attitude, you help deliver a spotless and inviting environment for every guest.

Requirements

  • Housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred (will train reliable candidates).
  • Ability to follow written/verbal instructions and standard operating procedures.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, dependable; positive, team-first attitude.
  • Basic English required; bilingual (e.g., Spanish/English) preferred.
  • Flexible availability, including weekends/holidays; reliable attendance.
  • Stand/walk for extended periods; frequent bending, kneeling, reaching.
  • Lift, push, or pull up to 30–40 lbs (linen bags, vacuums, carts).
  • Work around cleaning chemicals (training/PPE provided).

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Public Area Care: Clean, sanitize, and maintain the lobby, hallways, elevators, public restrooms, and other common areas to brand and inspection standards.
  • Guest Interaction: Greet guests warmly, offer assistance, and provide information or directions as needed to enhance their experience.
  • Linen & Supplies: Restock public area supplies such as towels, tissues, hand soap, and amenities; maintain proper inventory levels.
  • Maintenance Reporting: Identify and promptly report any maintenance or safety concerns (lighting, HVAC, plumbing, furnishings) to Engineering or Leadership.
  • Safety & Compliance: Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely; follow all PPE, OSHA, SDS, and key-control policies.
  • Storage & Equipment: Keep supply closets, carts, and storage areas clean, organized, and fully stocked at all times.
  • Special Projects: Support deep cleaning tasks, lobby set-ups, or event-related cleaning as assigned.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with Housekeeping, Engineering, and Front Office teams to ensure a clean and seamless guest experience throughout the property.
