About The Position

The Jefferson Hotel is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Lobby Attendant to join our Housekeeping team. This role helps maintain the cleanliness and presentation of public areas throughout the hotel, including the lobby, hallways, and restrooms, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests. Responsibilities include routine cleaning, restocking supplies, and responding quickly to areas that need attention. The ideal candidate is proactive, guest-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced hospitality environment with a strong attention to detail.

Requirements

Must be available to work a flexible schedule between 7:00 AM and 11:00 PM, including weekends and holidays.
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift 40+ pounds when required.
Must maintain a pleasant, helpful demeanor when interacting with guests and team members.
Must demonstrate a strong sense of urgency and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.
Professional appearance and positive attitude when interacting with guests.

Nice To Haves

Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of all public spaces, including the lobby, hallways, and restrooms.
Vacuum, mop, dust, and empty trash in assigned areas throughout the shift.
Restock supplies in public restrooms and ensure they remain clean and well maintained.
Monitor high-traffic areas and respond quickly to maintain a polished environment.
Assist with maintaining hallways and other guest-facing areas as needed.
Provide courteous assistance to guests when approached and help direct them when appropriate.
Report maintenance concerns or safety issues to the appropriate department.
Support the Housekeeping team with additional tasks and special cleaning projects as assigned.
