About The Position

Rudin, as agent, seeks to hire a Lobby Ambassador to join the company. We are looking for a candidate that can hit the ground running. This is a Local 32BJ Union position subject to the terms of the Commercial Building Agreement between Local 32BJ SEIU and Realty Advisory Board on Labor Relations, Inc. (“CBA”). Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • This is a full-time position, must be available 40 hours per week. Shift schedule may vary depending on property.
  • Neat, clean, and professional appearance.
  • Must be physically capable of performing the duties of the position including but not limited to bending, squatting, stretching, and working in a standing position for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 10 pounds on a regular basis. On occasion, may be required to lift items weighing more than 10 pounds.
  • Punctual and reliable, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to use sound judgment, show discretion, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Detail oriented and extremely organized with the ability to multi-task
  • A team player with excellent interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome visitors upon their arrival, providing a warm and professional demeanor.
  • Direct and manage foot traffic flow within the building lobby to ensure efficiency and safety.
  • Ensure elevator cars are presentable and in working order.
  • Implement crowd control measures during special events or emergencies.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for tenants and visitors, providing information and assistance as needed.
  • Coordinate with building management to address tenant concerns and maintenance requests promptly.
  • Answer incoming calls and inquiries, redirecting them to the appropriate departments or personnel.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized reception area, ensuring a positive first impression for all guests.
  • Collaborate with building security personnel to monitor access points and enforce security protocols.
  • Assist with visitor registration and badge issuance, ensuring compliance with building policies.
  • Respond to security incidents or emergencies as directed, following established procedures.
  • Foster positive relationships with tenants by addressing their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
