About The Position

PNC is seeking an LOB Risk Specialist to join its Technology organization in Dallas, TX. PNC emphasizes a supportive, in-office culture where employees are encouraged to connect with their recruiter and hiring manager to understand workplace expectations. The role involves assisting in the execution, design, and development of the Line of Business Risk Management program, ensuring adherence to risk programs, and identifying opportunities for enhancement. The specialist will execute risk management activities, participate in program consultations, and develop risk expertise by collaborating with various business and risk partners such as Compliance, Credit, Legal, and Audit. This position also includes participation in risk initiatives, business as usual activities, ad hoc requests, and identifying risk exposures. PNC employees are expected to be customer-focused, prioritizing customer needs and satisfaction, and adept at managing risk by adhering to PNC's Enterprise Risk Management Framework.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in the execution of the Line of Business Risk Management program, identifying opportunities for enhancement where applicable.
  • Under supervision, enables line of business adherence with risk programs.
  • Assists in the design and development of the risk management program to meet business and regulatory expectations.
  • Executes the risk management program within or across the lines of business (e.g. - business self-assessment and quality reviews).
  • Participates in the consultation to execute the program components.
  • Works to develop risk expertise while working with the businesses and other risk partners (e.g., Compliance, Credit, Legal, Audit).
  • Participates in risk initiatives, business as usual activities, ad hoc requests, and identifies risk exposures.
