Position Summary: The Loaner/Returns Inspector will perform visual and functional inspections per written inspection procedures. The individual must be a team player with the ability to function well in a challenging and fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent, and 1-2 years related experience is preferred but not required
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communications
  • Data entry skills; must have knowledge of MS Excel & Outlook
  • Critical thinking, problem-solving abilities
  • Must be able to follow and comply with safety and quality procedures
  • Required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Required to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
  • Required to possess specific vision abilities, including: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the capacity to adjust focus

Responsibilities

  • Inspecting loaner sets for completeness and adherence to the loaner inspection procedures, including:
  • Verifying the loaner set is complete with no missing or broken parts
  • Verifying all paperwork is accurate and complete
  • Receiving, cleaning, inspecting, decontaminating when necessary, entering, and reprocessing returns and loaners
  • Assisting the Loaners/Returns Manager in inventory management
  • Assisting in tracking and documenting all deficiencies
  • Maintaining accurate documentation per departmental procedures
  • Conducting all activities in a safe and efficient manner
  • Adheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies.
  • Ensures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role
  • Represents the company in a professional manner and uphold the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties.
