Requirements

• College graduate with major in accounting, finance, or business preferred
• 3-4 years corporate commercial lending and banking experience with good knowledge of lending regulations, loan funding/closing, and credit/underwriting practices
• PC proficient
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Bilingual (English/Mandarin or Cantonese) a plus
• Organized and detail oriented
• Good knowledge of Bank's credit underwriting policies and approval process for assigned loans
• Ability to manage loan funding/closing and complex loan issues
• Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, high production environment
• Strong financial analysis and accounting skills

Responsibilities

• Support lending team's customer service and loan processing
• Underwrite less complex new and renewed credits, modifications, and amendments
• Provide quality customer service and follow up on outstanding items
• Prepare required disclosure information within designated time frames
• Ensure compliance with Bank, regulatory and credit requirements with emphasis on quality customer service while adhering to given deadlines
• Assist with mentoring and training loan assistants
