About The Position
The Loan Servicing Specialist is responsible for a variety of duties related to loan servicing, including payment processing, escrow management, tax and insurance monitoring, and the draw process. This role also involves the verification of mortgages and other servicing functions. The specialist will review and maintain departmental reports to identify trends or areas of concern, ensuring timely completion of payment processing, including all incoming wires. Additional responsibilities include processing non-accrual and charge-off transactions, loan recoveries, and performing weekly, monthly, and annual loan general ledger balancing and reconciliation. The position requires completing file maintenance and research for consumer, commercial, and mortgage loans while adhering to the bank's policies and applicable laws.
