About The Position
The Loan Servicing Specialist is responsible for the payment of taxes, hazard/flood insurance premiums and mortgage insurance premiums. Additionally, this employee will process insurance loss draft files, mortgage insurance cancellations/terminations, escrow account cancellations and borrower escrow analysis inquiries, complaints and assistance box. Answer and address inbound escrow calls and HEAT tickets from borrowers in a professional manner. Provide quality customer service to all borrowers. Document borrower interactions and capture updated loan information within the core system. Process complaints and assist with the Assistance mailbox. Process tax and insurance payments, utilizing third party vendor services. Process insurance loss draft files. Process mortgage insurance cancellations/terminations, adhering to CFPB and investor guidelines. Process escrow cancellations requests, adhering to investor guidelines. Assist the department supervisor and team lead with the annual review of escrow analysis statement and other departmental projects as required. Adhere to strict timelines and provide attention to detail.
